It started with one recipe.
Not with a business plan. Not with a brand strategy. With one person who couldn’t sleep properly and started reading — Victorian pharmacopoeias, French apothecary records, Culpeper, Paracelsus, Mrs Grieve’s Modern Herbal. What they found was not complicated. The body already knows what to do. The plant does not cure — it reminds. That the body carries everything it needs to return to itself. The infusion simply clears the path.
The first recipe was made for someone. It took five attempts to become what it needed to be. On the night it was finally right, everything else became possible.
The Method
Every infusion in this collection is brewed in Amsterdam by hand, in small batches, in four stages. The roots enter first — because they carry the oldest knowledge, held deepest in the plant. High heat draws out what years of growth accumulated. Then the herbs. Then the florals, at low heat, because aliveness is fragile. Then the finishing waters — added cold, below fifty degrees, preserving what heat would destroy.
This is not ceremony for its own sake. Each stage exists because the plant requires it. We studied what the Victorian and Parisian apothecaries knew — that what is drawn slowly gives more than what is taken quickly. That discipline was not inconvenience. It was the entire point.
The ingredients are real. The method is real. The rest, your body already knows.
